Our rates include Maintenance, VAT, Unlimited mileage, Airport Transfers, Full Third Party Insurance, and 90% Comprehensive Insurance.
All vehicles are hired subject to our standard Rental Agreement (RA).
The minimum rental period is 6 days. Daily rates are calculated on a 24 hour basis from time of pick-up to time of drop-off.
Extensions of the rental period must be arranged with us no later than 2 days (48 hours) prior to the agreed date of termination and is depending on availability of the vehicle.
Insurances and waivers exclude damages to personal property.
All vehicles carry a full Third Party insurance. In the event of an insurance claim arising, the renter will be held liable for the chosen level of the excess, security for which must be provided by the renter by means of credit card only.
The excess amount of the vehicle can be reduced (reduced excess) against payment of a daily fee.
Minimum age is 23 to drive vehicles with engine size 2.4l within the Asco Budget groups, over the age of 25 to drive Asco vehicles with engine size 2.4l, to be over the age of 30 to drive all groups which have a bigger engine than 2.8l (unless prior written consent of ACH). Second driver is free of charge, any additional drivers will be charged a fee.
A valid drivers license must be produced by the renter / driver. Valid drivers licenses are: An international drivers license, a European Community drivers license, any national drivers license in English. National drivers licenses in any other language than English must be accompanied by an officially certified translation in English.
No vehicle may be taken outside Namibia without prior approval and a cross-border permit.
Long term and one-way rentals are available on request.
Any instructions received from the client during the period of the last 7 days prior to the proposed rental date can for reasons of practical arrangements be accepted on a conditional basis only.
We accept Visa and MasterCard Credit Cards only at our offices. Payment in cash (ZAR and N$) or by ETF Bank transfers are also possible.
All terms, conditions and rates are subject to change without prior notice.
We reserve the right to substitute the booked vehicle with a similar one.
Asco Car Hire applies the ANVR regulated cancellation policy on bookings.
* Cancellation before the 42nd calendar day (exclusive) prior to the rental commencement date: the deposit paid, not exceeding 35% of the total rental sum;
* Cancellation from the 42nd calendar day (inclusive) to the 28th calendar day (exclusive) prior to the rental commencement date: 35% of the total rental sum;
* Cancellation from the 28th calendar day (inclusive) to the 21st calendar day (exclusive) prior to the rental commencement date: 40% of the total rental sum;
* Cancellation from the 21st calendar day (inclusive) to the 14th calendar day (exclusive) prior to the rental commencement date: 50% of the total rental sum;
* Cancellation from the 14th calendar day (inclusive) to the 5th calendar day (exclusive) prior to the rental commencement date: 75% of the total rental sum;
* Cancellation from the 5th calendar day (inclusive) prior to the rental commencement date: 90% of the total rental sum.
