With over 30 years of car hire service experience in the rugged Namibian environment, Asco Car Hire is one of the biggest and most trusted providers out there.

Asco Car Hire is one of the largest car rental companies in Namibia. Our fleet of new four-wheel drive motor vehicles is for hire for self-drive trips through Namibia, Botswana, South Africa (incl. Swaziland and Lesotho), Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi. The company was founded in 1990 and has since then grown steadily. Today Asco Car Hire has a fleet of over 250 four-wheel drive vehicles. Asco Car Hire is run by a multicultural team of highly skilled employees lead by an international management team.

Our clients receive a new or very recent 4×4 vehicle, which is technically adapted to our exciting but often harsh African roads. The vehicles are continually maintained to perfection and comprehensively serviced before every trip. Our modern offices in Windhoek include an in-house, fully equipped workshop‚ a car wash, and a break-down service all centrally situated at our premises.

Although Namibian roads, and southern African roads in general, are well maintained, most of them are gravel roads. They lead through beautiful but remote wildernesses and breath taking but rugged terrain, only negotiable by 4×4. Asco Car Hire vehicles are ready to take on the challenge!

The vehicles are specially fitted for the camping enthusiasts. They are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable camping trip in the wild. Unlimited mileage, double fuel tank, water tank, as well as bull and roll bars come standard with our 4×4 vehicles for extra safety.
