Visiting neighbouring countries is possible with Asco Car Hire vehicles. However, it must be arranged prior your departure.
Cross-border permit for Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland and Zimbabwe:

Cross-border permit when access to Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique is included:

Driving 7 days a week, our airport shuttle will take you from the International airport to the car hire in the city to pick up your vehicle. Alternatively the shuttle can take you to your accommodation within the city limits and pick you up again if you plan to collect up your vehicle at a later stage. Please inform us of your flight details at least 7 days before your travel so that shuttle driver can meet you at the airport.
The shuttle operates every day between 7.30 and 16.00, the first bus to the airport leaving at 7.30 and the last bus to the airport leaving at 16.00.
If you require transport outside these hours, please contact our offices well in time. The driver will wait at the airport for a maximum of 90 minutes after the flight has landed. If your checkout procedure is taking much longer, please try to notify our office.
Asco Car Hire provides a roadside back-up service within the whole of southern Africa. Please note the following area specific conditions.
24 hour service is guaranteed within Namibia and South Africa except in the Kaokoland and Bushmanland areas.
Normal back-up service is available in Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Lesotho and Swaziland.
Driving on dunes is not allowed. The renter is fully liable for all damages and costs arising from off-road driving.
